Help to Overcome (H2O)
Help to Overcome is a restorative support and intervention program designed to guide youth who are facing personal challenges, school difficulties, conflict at home or in the community, or involvement with the justice system. At RESQ, we believe that every youth deserves the chance to learn, heal, and move forward with hope not be defined by a moment, circumstance, or mistake. This program provides a safe, supportive space where youth are listened to, understood, and encouraged. Through counseling, mentorship, conflict resolution, and life-skills development, youth learn how to manage emotions, strengthen relationships, and make positive decisions.
ACE (Arts, Culture and Entrepreneurship)

The ACE Program empowers youth to explore their creativity, celebrate cultural identity, and develop real-world entrepreneurial skills. Through hands-on workshops in visual arts, digital media, and storytelling, youth learn to express themselves while building confidence and leadership. The program also introduces youth to entrepreneurship basics such as branding, budgeting, and turning creative ideas into income opportunities. ACE provides a supportive space where culture and creativity become pathways to personal growth and future success.

Peace Ambassador Program
The Peace Ambassador Program equips youth with the skills to resolve conflict peacefully and support positive relationships in their schools and communities. This program provides formal training in Conflict Resolution and Peer Mediation through our partnership with Peel Family Mediation Services and the Conflict Resolution Centre at Humber Polytechnic. At ResQ, we believe that youth have the capacity to be leaders in building safer, healthier environments. With the right support, youth can learn to manage emotions, communicate effectively, and guide others through difficult situations.

Pathways to Success
The Pathways to Success program equips youth with the skills, knowledge, and confidence they need to prepare for meaningful careers and independent living. Through training in job readiness, financial literacy, goal-setting, and life skills, participants learn how to navigate work, education, and personal responsibilities successfully. This program provides mentorship, practical workshops, and real-world experiences to help youth plan for their future, build self-confidence, and achieve long- term success.

Mentorship Program-Legal Careers Focus
Our Mentorship Program connects youth with experienced professionals who provide guidance, support, and insight into navigating school, personal growth, and future careers. Through our collaboration with the Ontario Justice Education Network (OJEN) and other Legal Professionals, mentees are exposed to careers in the legal and justice sectors, including roles such as lawyers, mediators, court support workers, and social justice advocates.
 Academic Support- Grades 8 & 9
Our Academic Support Program helps youth in Math, English, and Science strengthen their understanding, improve grades, and build confidence. Through tutoring, personalized guidance, and practical learning strategies, students receive the support they need to succeed in school and develop skills that will serve them in high school and beyond.

Know your rights
The Know Your Rights program empowers youth with knowledge about their legal rights and responsibilities in everyday life. Participants learn how to navigate interactions with schools, community, and the justice system, and gain the confidence to make informed decisions. Through workshops, discussions, and real- life scenarios, youth are equipped to advocate for themselves and others while understanding the importance of accountability and fairness.
